The National Rural
Trade Associations (OPASTCO, NTCA, WTA) have drafted a letter to send to the
FCC to clarify the concerns that rural carriers have with the FCC’s regression
analysis-based caps on HCLS.
The Associations hope
to gather hundreds of signatures by July 2nd, so time is of the essence.
ITA joins with the leaders of NTCA and OPASTCO in urging all Iowa RLECs to sign
on to this letter whether they are a member of NTCA, OPASTCO or WTA.

The Associations will prepare one single letter that
lists the names of every company who wishes to sign on – there’s no need for
companies to use this to craft and send individual letters.
